The Korrbäke is a right-hand tributary of the Lethe in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .

course

The source of the 16 km long stream is located south of the village of Sage in the western area of the community of Großenkneten . The Korrbäke then flows in a northerly direction, crosses under Sager Straße (L 870) and changes direction to the west after about 3 kilometers. Shortly after crossing under the B 29 , the direction of flow changes again to the north. It finally joins the Lethe on the right north of Littel .

natural reserve

The Korrbäke has 28 floor slopes with height differences of 0.6 to 1.0 meters. The majority of it consists of precast concrete parts that fish cannot overcome. In the last few years this has started to be replaced by sole sliding . This enables the fish that live here such as perch, bream, pike or roach to better cross the stream.
