The Kozhuh Peak ( Bulgarian връх Кожух wrach Koschuch ) is a 1250 m high and icy mountain on the west side of the Elgar Uplands on the Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 9.26 km northwest of Mount Pinafore , 8.92 km northeast of the Appalachia Nunatakker and 19.1 km southeast of the Shaw Nunatak . The Delius Glacier is north and the Bartók Glacier is south-southwest of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2017 after the extinct volcano Koschuch in southwestern Bulgaria .
