The Krähenstein is a rock west of Winterberg - Siedlinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia with a height of 557 meters above sea level . It is a hardened back made of quartz porphyry . The rock vegetation consists of ferns, dwarf shrub heather, bushes and deciduous trees.

The Krähenstein has been designated as a 0.67 hectare "Krähenstein" natural monument by the Winterberg landscape plan since 2008 . In addition, it is a legally protected biotope according to § 62 of the Landscape Act North Rhine-Westphalia with the designation GB-4716-207 and a size of 0.33 ha.

Since the spruce trees that surrounded the Krähenstein were knocked over by Hurricane Kyrill in January 2007, the rock has been clearly visible from afar. A 4 to 5 meter high rock face can be seen from the road between Siedlinghausen and Altenfeld. A wooden cross with a lookout point was erected on the Krähenstein.

The Käppelchen Felsen natural monument is only 270 meters south of the rock . The field stone of the Bruchhauser stones to the northeast is visible from the Krähenstein .
