The Tuanku Jaafar (or Tuanku Ja'afar ) power plant is a combined cycle power plant in Port Dickson , Negeri Sembilan State , Malaysia , on the Malacca Strait . It was named after Tuanku Ja'afar .
The power plant is owned by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and is also operated by TNB.

The two systems each consist of two gas turbines and a downstream steam turbine . A waste heat steam generator is connected to each of the two gas turbines ; the waste heat steam generator then supplies the steam turbine.
