Krahof is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Georgen am Ybbsfelde in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 102 building areas in Krahof with a total of 44,825 m² and 62 gardens with 189,053 m², in 1989/1990 there were 101 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 205, with 142 buildings in existence, and in 2009/2010 there were 135 buildings.

Agriculture

Krahof is characterized by agriculture. 597 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 158 hectares were managed for forestry. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 588 hectares and 182 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 568 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 173 hectares. The average soil climate in the cadastral community is 41 (as of 2010).
