Krasheninnikov Peak ( Russian Гора Крашенинникова Gora Krasheninnikowa , Norwegian Krasheninnikovhøgda ) is a 2525  m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern Petermann chain of the Wohlthatmassiv it rises on the south side of the Svarthausane .

It was discovered and mapped using aerial photographs during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) were used for a new mapping. Soviet scientists re-mapped and named between 1960 and 1961. It is named after the Russian explorer and geographer Stepan Petrovich Krasheninnikov (1711–1755). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred the Russian name to English in 1970.
