The county Baja is a county in the southwest of the county Bács-Kiskun . It was created after the dissolution of the small areas in early 2013 from the small area Baja (Hungarian Bajai kistérség ). The district borders in the south with three localities (Hercegszántó, Bácsszentgyörgy and Gara) on Romania . District seat is the largest and only city of Baja , which makes up over half of the district's population.
