The Kiskunhalas District (Hungarian Kiskunhalasi járás ) is a district in the southeast of Bács-Kiskun County . It was created at the beginning of 2013 after the dissolution of the small area of the same name (Hungarian Kiskunhalasi kistérség ) with 9 villages. It borders with 2 localities (Tompa and Kelebia) in the south on Serbia and in the east on Csongrád-Csanád County . The Zsana community is very sparsely populated.
