Kiskunhalas small area

The small area Kiskunhalas ( Hungarian Kiskunhalasi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Bács-Kiskun county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all municipalities were transferred to the subsequent district of Kiskunhalas (Hungarian Kiskunhalasi járás ).

The small area had 43,735 inhabitants (end of 2012) on an area of ​​826.35 km² and comprised 9 localities.

The administrative seat was in Kiskunhalas .
