Bácsalmás small area
The small area Bácsalmás (Hungarian Bácsalmási kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Bács-Kiskun county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, two municipalities moved from the small area of Baja to the subsequent district of Bácsalmás (Hungarian Bácsalmási járás ).
The small area had 16,148 inhabitants (end of 2012) on an area of 381.09 km² and comprised eight municipalities.
The administrative seat was the only town in Bácsalmás .
