Bácsalmás small area

The small area Bácsalmás (Hungarian Bácsalmási kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Bács-Kiskun county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, two municipalities moved from the small area of ​​Baja to the subsequent district of Bácsalmás (Hungarian Bácsalmási járás ).

The small area had 16,148 inhabitants (end of 2012) on an area of ​​381.09 km² and comprised eight municipalities.

The administrative seat was the only town in Bácsalmás .
