Kalocsa small area

The small area Kalocsa ( Hungarian Kalocsai kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Bács-Kiskun county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all 20 municipalities together with the municipality of Újsolt from the Kunszentmiklós small area formed the Kalocsa district ( Kalocsai járás in Hungarian ).

The small area had 50,847 inhabitants (end of 2012) on an area of ​​1029.29 km² and comprised 20 municipalities.

The administrative seat was in Kalocsa .
