Dunapataj is a large village in County Bács-Kiskun in southern Hungary . On January 1, 2013, the community had 3,180 inhabitants. West flows the Danube , east extends the 68 ha large Szelider Lake ( Szelidi-tó ).

Dunapataj is located on the main road number 51 between Solt and Kalocsa . There is a train station in the village. However, passenger traffic to Kunszentmiklós - Tass was discontinued in 2007.
