The Kreuzbach rises in the natural area of ​​the Lichtenberg ridge of the North Palatinate Uplands at an altitude of 353  m above sea level. NHN in a forest corner on the eastern slope of the Mittelberg and a good one kilometer northeast of the village of Nussbach. Its source area is south of the Flur [sic] Kreuzbacher Wiesen .

The stream initially feeds three small fish ponds and then flows south-south-west through deciduous forest along the southern slope of the Mittelberg. It then leaves the forest and, accompanied by thick wood, runs through the grassland of the Flur [sic] Untere Kreuzbach .

It then turns to the west-southwest, crosses the street Am Wingertsberg and finally flows at an altitude of 258  m into a strip of forest in the Breitwiese corridor a good hundred meters north of the local community of Nussbach in the Dorfbach, which is approaching from the north .
