Kristal Awuah (born August 7, 1999 in London ) is a British sprinter who specializes in the 100 meter run .

Athletic career

Kristal Awuah gained her first international experience at the 2018 U20 World Championships in Tampere , where she won the bronze medal in 11.37 s, as well as with the British 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.05 s. Then she came second with the European relay at the Athletics Continental Cup in Ostrava . In 2019 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow for the first time and finished fourth with a new best performance of 7.15 seconds in the 60-meter run . She then took part in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Relays in Yokohama , but did not make it to the finish line there in advance. In July she finished sixth in the 200-meter run at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 23.66 s .
