Kristina Sergejewna Smirnowa ( Russian Кристина Сергеевна Смирнова ; born September 19, 1991 in Krasnoufimsk ) is a Russian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Career

Kristina Smirnova made her international debut at the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2012 in Ufa , where she won the silver medal in the sprint behind Olga Podchufarova and in front of Olga Kalina , and the bronze medal in the pursuit race behind Olga Podchufarowa and Iryna Varwynez . For the relay race at the beginning of the competitions, she was only called into the third ( Russia 2 ), non-competitive relay.

At the start of the 2012/13 season , Smirnowa came to Idre for her first appearances among women in the performance area. As 13th in her first sprint, she immediately won points, and in tenth in the following sprint, she reached the top ten for the first time. It should remain your best results. After 2012, Smirnova only returned to international racing at the 2014 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Tyumen .
