Kristján Kristinsson (born August 16, 1998 ) is an Icelandic ice hockey player who has been under contract with Ísknattleiksfélagið Björninn in the Icelandic ice hockey league since 2012 .

Career

Kristján Kristinsson began his career as a ice hockey player with Ísknattleiksfélagið Björninn , in whose second team ( called Hunar ) he made his debut in the Icelandic ice hockey league in 2012 . He has been playing for the club's first team ( Björninn ) since 2014 .

International

Kristján Kristinsson played for Iceland as a teenager. He took part in the U18 World Championships in 2014 and 2016 in Division II and 2013 in Division III as well as in the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2015 and in Division III in 2016 and 2017 .

Kristján Kristinsson made his debut for the men's national team at the 2017 World Cup in Division II.
