Kristopher Santos Da Graca (born January 16, 1998 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish football player with roots in Cape Verde . The defender is under contract with IFK Gothenburg in his hometown and is part of the Swedish national team.

Career

Kristopher Da Graca started playing football in his hometown of Gothenburg in Hisingsbacka FC, as a teenager to England before moving to the football school of 2,013 Arsenal moved. After four years, Da Graca returned to Sweden, where he was born, where he joined IFK Göteborg . On August 10, 2017, at the age of 19, he made his professional debut in the Allsvenskan in a 2-1 home win against AIK Solna . Kristopher Da Graca made his breakthrough in Gothenburg's professional team in the summer of 2019 when he started fifteen games on July 13, 2019 and only missed a single game due to a yellow card suspension. The 2020 season is currently interrupted due to the Corona crisis.

Kristopher Da Graca played for the Swedish U17 and the U19 national team . On September 9, 2019, he was nominated for the U21 squad for the European Championship qualifier against Ireland in Kalmar , but was not used. Da Graca made his first unofficial assignment for the Swedish national team on January 12, 2020 during a trip to Asia against Kosovo.
