Hosam Aiesh (born April 14, 1995 in Gothenburg ) is a Palestinian - Swedish football player . The midfielder won the Swedish national cup competition with Östersunds FK in 2017 .

Career

Aiesh began playing football at Azalea BK , which he left as a teenager in the direction of BK Häcken . In March 2013 he made his debut in a cup game in the competition team, and made his debut in the league as part of the Allsvenskan game against Falkenbergs FF in May 2014 as a substitute for Björn Anklev . After he could not book any more stakes until the summer, the club loaned him to Varbergs BoIS in the second-rate Superettan until the end of the season. Here he played eleven games and scored one goal, with the team he finished seventh in the table at the end of the second division season in 2014 . He played his way into the Swedish U-19 national team , for which he played three international matches between October 2014 and October 2015 .

In November 2014, the then second division team Östersunds took FK Aiesh under contract. At the end of the second division season in 2015 , in which he had played 24 league games - but only four of them over the entire playing time - he rose with the club for the first time in the club's history to the Allsvenskan. In the following season he ran for both Östersunds FK and the cooperation club Varbergs BoIS, so that he booked on the one hand 15 missions in the highest and twelve missions in the second division. At the beginning of 2017 he extended his contract with Östersunds FK until 2020. As a result, he established himself in the first division squad under coach Graham Potter and was also in the starting line-up in the cup final in May of that year against IFK Norrköping . In the 4-1 success he scored the goal to make it 2-0. With the first nationwide title win, the team also qualified for the European Cup for the first time . In the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League , the team then reached the group stage after successes over Galatasaray Istanbul , CS Fola Esch and PAOK Thessaloniki .

In August 2017 Aiesh was nominated for the first time for the Palestinian national team after the association officials became aware of him after an interview following the cup final because of a statement about Palestine.
