Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi (born July 18, 2000 in Kano ) is a Nigerian football player who is under contract with the Swedish first division club IFK Göteborg .

Career

Alhassan Yusuf comes from the youth department of FC Hearts Nigeria. At the end of July 2018, he signed his first professional contract with the Swedish first division club IFK Göteborg , which has a term of two years with an option for two more seasons. On October 22, 2018 (26th matchday) he made his debut in a 2-0 away win against IF Brommapojkarna when he came on for Giorgi Charaishvili in the 93rd minute . In this 2018 season he played this one league game. At the beginning of the following game year 2019 he established himself as a regular player in midfield . On the last day of the match he scored his first two league goals for Blåvitt in a 7-1 home win against Östersunds FK . During this season he completed 26 league games in which he scored two goals and got as many assists. Because of his good performance, he was named Newcomer of the Year 2019.
