Björn Anklev (born April 13, 1979 ) is a Swedish football player . The offensive player played over a hundred games in the Allsvenskan and was second division champion with Örgryte IS in the 2008 season .
Career
Anklev began his career at the amateur club Nyköpings BI . With the club he was 2003 champion of fourth division Division 3, where he was the top scorer with 28 goals contributed decisively to the associated promotion to the third division. He was then committed by Halmstads BK . For the club he was used in 17 games in his first season in the Allsvenskan. In 2006 he injured his cruciate ligament and therefore missed the entire season and could not play in the starting XI the following year: All 19 appearances in the elite series in the 2007 season , Anklev played as a substitute.
In the winter of 2008 Anklev then left the club and joined Örgryte IS in the Superettan , where he signed a two-year contract. He immediately established himself as a regular at his new employer. With eleven goals this season, he was the club's top scorer and thus helped the traditional club to return to the Allsvenskan. In the first division season of 2009 he could not build on his goal threat of the previous year and scored only one goal of the season in 26 games. With the club he missed relegation as bottom of the table. In the second division he - meanwhile appointed team captain - was involved in almost every fourth of the club's 43 goals this season with seven goals and three assists, but it was only enough for his team to reach ninth place in the 2010 season . Nevertheless, he extended his contract with the Gothenburg club until the end of 2012 in the summer of that year.
Due to financial problems, however, Örgryte IS was forced to give up Anklev at the end of the season. He signed a three-year contract with city rivals BK Häcken . His first season was marred by injuries. He came to ten season games, but only played as a substitute. At the beginning of the following season he had fought for a regular place in the offensive row alongside Abdul Majeed Waris and René Makondele in the 4-3-3 system played by coach Peter Gerhardsson . Although he was temporarily replaced by Dioh Williams in the starting line-up, he was one of the regulars for much of the season. After starting 25 of his 26 appearances in the 2013 season , he extended his expiring contract for another season in the fall. Again he played the majority of the season's games, but fluctuated between starting line-up and bench. After three goals in 25 games this season, he ended the season with the club in fifth place.
After his contract with BK Häcken expired, he moved back to Örgryte IS within Gothenburg, which had missed promotion to the second division in relegation . He signed a two-year contract with the third division team trained by Marcus Lantz .
