Life
Career
Makondele is considered one of the best attacking creative midfielders in the Swedish top division Fotbollsallsvenskan . He has won the Swedish championship twice with Djurgårdens IF and has twice been the Swedish Cup winner .
In the summer of 2007 he moved to the Swedish top club Helsingborgs IF , where he organized the offensive with the Swedish star striker Henrik Larsson . The transfer fee was an estimated 700,000 to 800,000 euros.
In July 2010, Makondele moved to league rivals BK Häcken for 500,000 euros , and he signed a three-year contract with the Gothenburg club. At the side of David Frölund , Christoffer Källqvist and Mattias Östberg , he earned a regular place in the team trained by Peter Gerhardsson . When he was initially in the shadow of John Chibuike , Jonas Henriksson and Mathias Ranégie on the offensive , he developed into a dangerous player from the 2011 season - especially after Ranégie and Chibuike left at the end of the summer transfer period in August 2011. At the beginning of the following season he temporarily took over the top scorer list of the Swedish championship together with his new striker colleague Abdul Majeed Waris .
