Emmanuel John Chibuike (born October 10, 1988 in Enugu ) is a Nigerian football player . The midfielder made his previous professional career after moving to Europe in 2009 in Sweden , Norway , Israel and Turkey .

Career

Chibuike moved to Gothenburg club BK Häcken in early 2009 after taking his first steps in Nigerian adult football with his hometown club Rangers International . At the beginning of his time in Sweden still a supplementary player, the midfielder quickly developed into a guarantor for the establishment of the promoted player in the top division over the course of the 2009 season . As a league newcomer, the team around Jonas Henriksson , Johan Lind and Mattias Östberg just barely missed the European Cup as fifth in the table , with six goals this season in 22 games making a decisive contribution. At the beginning of the following season he was briefly leader with the team, but at the end of the season it was only eighth place in the table. After good performance in the first half of 2011, he moved to the Norwegian record champions Rosenborg Trondheim shortly before the end of the transition period , with whom he signed a contract that was valid until the end of 2014.

In Norway, Chibuike showed his goal risk straight away, scoring six goals in eleven games in his first half. He reached the UEFA Europa League as third in the table with last year's champions . Although the club placed in the top three teams in the Norwegian championship in the following two seasons, the time was less successful for Chibuike. In the course of the 2012 season he temporarily moved into the second line under coach Jan Jönsson and under his successor Per Joar Hansen he wavered between the starting eleven and the bench. Nevertheless, by the summer break of 2014, he collected 66 first division players for Rosenborg BK in the Tippeligaen , in which he had scored 19 goals.

At the beginning of July 2014, Chibuike moved to Turkey and signed a contract with Gaziantepspor . In July 2016 he left this club prematurely. A short time later he returned to Sweden and joined the multiple master AIK . There he signed a contract that was valid until the end of the 2016 season . After the clarification of unanswered questions about his contract termination, the registration with Svenska Fotbollförbundet and the receipt of the work permit from the Swedish immigration authorities, he received the license to play on August 24 and made his debut on the following day as a substitute for Amin Affane in the 0-0 draw against Hammarby IF for the new employer. After just half a season he moved to the Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv .

When he moved to Samsunspor in the summer of 2017, he began to continue his career in Turkey.
