Krists Neilands (born August 18, 1994 in Ventspils ) is a Latvian cyclist .

Athletic career

Krists Neilands had his first international success in 2012 when he won the Tour de la Région de Lódz . From 2015 to 2017 he was the Latvian U23 individual time trial champion three times in a row , in 2017 and 2018 the Latvian elite road champion and in 2019 the national time trial champion .

In 2017 Neilands won a stage each of the Tour d'Azerbaïdjan and the Volta a Portugal , in 2018 he won the Dwars door het Hageland . In 2019 he won the Tour de Hongrie and the Grand Prix de Wallonie as well as the junior competition of the Arctic Race of Norway . In the overall ranking of the Tour of Asturias , he finished second.
