The Kronberg is a 983 meter high mountain in the Bavarian Forest , which forms the highest point of a subordinate ridge between Bodenmais , Langdorf and Böbrach in the middle of the Regen district. It is not to be confused with the 785 meter high mountain of the same name near Viechtach .

On the rocky peak there is a wooden cross with a summit book and two rest benches. Hikers rarely come here, as higher and better-known mountains such as the Arber or the Silberberg are very close by. But because the Kronberg is Langdorf's local mountain , there is still a summit cross.

Several marked hiking trails lead to the Kronberg from the hamlets of Stein, Schöneck, Waldmann and Böhmhof (stopping point of the forest railway ).
