Krzysztof Nitkiewicz (born July 17, 1960 in Białystok ) is Bishop of Sandomierz .
Life
The Apostolic Administrator of Białystok , Edward Kisiel ordained him a priest on June 19, 1985 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 13, 2009 Bishop of Sandomierz .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Poland , Józef Kowalczyk , donated him episcopal ordination on July 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Józef Mirosław Życiński , Archbishop of Lublin , and Sławoj Leszek Głódź , Archbishop of Danzig . As a motto he chose Misericordias Domini cantabo .
