The Kuhbach is an approximately three and a half kilometer long watercourse in the Wasgau ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) in southern Palatinate and a left tributary of the Lauter , which is still called Wieslauter here on its upper course .

course

The Kuhbach rises in Wasgau at an altitude of 276  m above sea level. NN north of the Löffelsberg ( 445  m above sea level ) in the Langenwald . It initially flows in a south-westerly direction. After a good 700 meters it reaches its first tributary on its left side; the Kuhbach then turns to the northwest. To the south of the Bärenbrunnermühle it is fed by another forest brook on the right. His path now leads west through a green zone. From here he is accompanied by the K 41 . It reaches the eastern edge of Schindhard , where a small meadow stream strengthens it from its right side. The Kuhbach passes this village, separates from it at the Rohrwiesen , then flows through the Stockwiesen , then crosses under the B 427 and finally flows underground at the Rothwiesen at an altitude of 198  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Wieslauter .
