history
The college was founded in 1966 as the Higher Institute of Arts (Institut i Lartë i Arteve) , the State Conservatory of Tirana (Conservatori Shtetëror i Tiranës) , the School of Fine Arts (Shkolla e Arteve të Bukura) and the Drama School Aleksander Moisiu ( Shkolla e Lartë e Aktorëve Aleksander Moisiu ) were merged.
