Ollenhauerstrasse leads from here to the northern districts ( Wittenau , Hermsdorf , Frohnau ) and the neighboring state of Brandenburg . The station of the same name on the U6 line is also located at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz .

Striking about the place

Aircraft noise is a problem on the field.

The Clou shopping center is located on Kurt-Schumacher-Platz . Various exhibitions and events take place here regularly. Rabbit cages and a small lake with a bench and plants are exhibited every year at Easter. Flea markets for adults and children are also held in the event space every year .

Aircraft taking off from or approaching the neighboring Tegel Airport pass the field at a relatively low altitude and sometimes cause noise pollution.
