Kurt August Eichner (born April 13, 1898 in Waldmohr ; † March 27, 1969 in Kirkel near Homburg ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

The son of a miner attended elementary school and vocational school. From February 1917 Eichner took part in the First World War with the 2nd Bavarian Uhlan Regiment . After retiring from the army in April 1919, he continued his training with the city administration of Homburg; In 1920 he passed the examination for the middle state and municipal administration service. Eichner worked for the city administration until 1935. He was married twice, most recently in May 1957.

Eichner joined the NSDAP ( membership number 199.186) in February 1930 and was a co-founder of the NSDAP local group in Homburg. In 1933 he became district leader for Homburg. From 1933 to February 1935 he worked for the state management of the German Front , from March 1934 as managing director. After the reintegration of the Saar region into the Reich , Eichner joined the National Socialist Reichstag on March 1, 1935, in accordance with the law on the representation of the Saarland in the Reichstag , of which he was a member until March 1936. In the new election on March 29, 1936 , he ran, but received no mandate. Eichner was expelled from the NSDAP for a few days in January 1936.

From December 1, 1935 until the end of the Second World War , Eichner was mayor of St. Wendel . In addition, from 1936 he was department head in the Gauamt for local politics in the Gau Saarpfalz. From August 1944 Eichner did military service. He was released from captivity in June 1945.
