Kurt Hartrodt

Kurt Hartrodt (born September 9, 1891 in Berlin ; † January 15, 1974 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Hartrodt attended high school and then graduated from high school. He studied law and political science at the Berlin University . In 1916 he passed the trainee exam and later received his doctorate as Dr. jur. at the University of Jena . In 1920 he passed the assessor examination and became a lawyer , the following year also a notary . From 1923 Hartrodt worked at the Reich Supply Court . From 1931 to 1945 he was a permanent member of the Reich Insurance Office .

After the Second World War , Hartrodt worked as a department head, later head of department at the Berlin Insurance Company (VAB). He received reparation from the Federal Ministry of Labor and was therefore promoted to Senate President retroactively from January 1, 1937 . In 1952 he moved to the newly established State Insurance Company Berlin (LAV Berlin). In the Berlin election in 1954 , Hartrodt was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1958.

Hartrodt received the Marie Juchacz plaque in 1972 .
