Kurt Poll
Kurt Poll (born March 17, 1886 in Danzig ; † January 9, 1943 in Munich ) was a German administrative lawyer. After the First World War he was district administrator in the province of East Prussia and in the Free City of Danzig .
Life
Poll studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . On June 23, 1906 he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Munich . In 1907 he moved to the Albertus University in Königsberg and was active in the corps he was friends with, Hansea Königsberg . In February 1919 he came to the Niederung district as acting district administrator , which in January 1920 lost northern parts of the Memel region . Poll was recalled after the Kapp Putsch in June 1920. As a government councilor , he was finally appointed district administrator in the Großes Werder district of the Free City of Danzig on August 14, 1925 . In November 1931 he was still employed as district administrator in Tiegenhof . Whether he held the post until 1934 is as unknown as his life during the National Socialist era . For unknown reasons, he hanged himself in Munich's English Garden at the age of 56 .
