Kyjliw ( Ukrainian Кийлів ; Russian Кийлов Kilow ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 550 inhabitants (2006).

Kyjliw is located in Boryspil district on the left bank of the Dnepr , which is dammed up to form Kaniv reservoir . The village, founded in 1702, belongs administratively to the district municipality of Holowuriw . The district center of Boryspil is 25 km north and the capital Kiev is 60 km north-west of the Dnepra.

Personalities

In 1944 the businessman and hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Petrenko was born in the village .
