Kyle Blignaut (born November 9, 1999 ) is a South African shot putter .

Athletic career

Kyle Blignaut gained his first international experience in 2017 at the Junior African Championships in Tlemcen , where he won the gold medal with 20.08 m. The following year he also won the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 22.07 m with the 6 kg ball. He then won the bronze medal behind the Nigerian Chukwuebuka Enekwarti and Mohamed Magdi Hamza from Egypt at the African Championships in Asaba in the adult area with a width of 19.05 m . In 2019 he was eliminated from the qualification at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 18.55 m and then finished seventh at the Africa Games in Rabat with 17.98 m.
