Kyle Buckingham (* 1983 in Port Elizabeth ) is a South African triathlete and three-time Ironman winner (2014, 2016 and 2018).

Career

Kyle Buckingham started his first triathlon at the age of 25.
In 2013 he was amateur world champion in the age group 30-34 at the Ironman World Championships in Ironman Hawaii and took 16th place in the overall standings.

In July 2014, he won the Ironman USA (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km bike and 42.195 km run).

In April 2018 he was able to win his third Ironman race with the Ironman South Africa in a personal best.

He has been married since 2014 and lives in Port Elizabeth with his wife.
