Kyle Weems (born August 23, 1989 ) is an American professional basketball player . Weems moved to Germany for the 2012/2013 season to start his career as a professional basketball player at Telekom Baskets Bonn .

The 100 kg forward ran five years for Missouri State University and was named Player of the Year at the Missouri State Conference of the NCAA in 2010/2011 . In his senior year 2011/2012, Weems got 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He then spent the summer break in the NBA Summer League and ran there for the Toronto Raptors team .

After he was not offered a contract for the NBA, Weems decided to venture a move to Europe, and received a one-year contract with Telekom Baskets Bonn . Weems could establish himself as a top performer at the Telekom Baskets and became the team's top scorer. At the end of the season, Weems returned to the USA to try again to get a contract with an NBA team. As in 2012, Weems played in the NBA Summer League in 2013 , this time for the Atlanta Hawks team . But even in 2013 there was not enough for a contract in the NBA. Weems then returned to Germany and joined Bundesliga club Medi bayreuth for the 2013/2014 season.

Weems left Germany for the 2014/2015 season and joined the French first division club JSF Nanterre . After one season, Weems moved to Strasbourg IG within France .

Weems graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration .
