action

Widowed Colonel Khurana runs his private psychiatric clinic, where his daughter Tanvi works as a doctor. The inhumane treatment of the mentally ill that Khurana practices does not help their recovery. Tanvi is more humane than her father and takes special care of patient # 36 as if she were her own mother, who she never had. The patient almost sees her as a daughter as long as she is dependent on Tanvi's help. But when she finally gets well, she is very ungrateful and leaves the clinic without saying a nice word to Tanvi. Tanvi is very offended by this and decides never to take her patients to the heart again. From now on she does not treat the sick much better than her father. She particularly hated new patient # 36 - Anand Sharma, who is accused of murdering his wife, but was declared innocent by the court because he is said to be mentally disturbed after the crime. Dr. Sunil, who also works at the clinic, is the son of a domestic worker in the Sharma family who received financial support from Anand's father while studying medicine. Anand, who he grew up with, was always like a brother to him. That's why he tries to protect Anand from the cruel treatment. He also draws Tanvi to his side by revealing Anand's love story to her:

Some time ago in Europe, Anand fell in love with a monastery girl named Maya, who sang in the church choir and was planning to become a nun. Anand tried everything to win her affection. Ultimately, he succeeded, and Maya became his wife. He brought her to India to introduce her to his relatives and friends, but an accident happened during the party. Anand threw Maya into the pool, not knowing that she cannot swim. By the time he found out, it was too late - Maya had drowned. As a result, Anand suffered a mental disorder.

When Tanvi learns the story, she feels attracted to Anand and slowly falls in love with him. Thanks to Tanvis and Sunil's efforts, Anand comes to and has to be discharged from the clinic soon. He is also in love and wants to marry Tanvi. But their father has already promised them to Karan, who is visiting them at the moment. The Colonel is ready to do anything to keep his daughter from marrying Anand.
