Kyrylo Serhijowytsch Kowaltschuk ( Ukrainian Кирило Сергійович Ковальчук , Romanian Chiril Covalciuc ; born November 11, 1986 in Biljajiwka ) is a Ukrainian - Moldovan football player .

Career

societies

Kovalchuk began his professional career in 2003 with Dnipro-2 Dnipropetrovsk , the reserve team of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk . In 2006 he moved to the Moldovan first division club Zimbru Chișinău and played here until 2009. In the meantime, he was loaned back to his home country to Tawrija Simferopol . From 2009 he continued his career in Russia with Tom Tomsk . From this club he was only awarded to Chornomorez Odessa in 2011 , back to his home country, and in 2012 he was given it free of charge. After working for Odessa for three years, he joined Metalist Kharkiv in January 2015 . For the second half of the 2015/16 season, the Turkish second division club Karşıyaka SK signed him . In the summer of 2016, Kovalchuk moved to the newly promoted Russian First League Tom Tomsk.

National team

In September 2014, Kovalchuk made his debut for the Ukrainian national team during a friendly against Moldova .

Personal

His brother Serghei Covalciuc was a Moldovan international.
