Lågen (or Laagen ) is the name of a water-rich river in southern Norway :
The Gudbrandsdalen-Lågen in Fylke Innlandet is one of the two outflows of the lake Lesjaskogsvatnet . It flows through the Gudbrandstal and forms the lake Losna and, after it has absorbed the tributaries Otta , Vinstra and others, flows into the lake Mjøsa near Lillehammer . Its outflow, the Vorma , pours into the Glomma after a total length of both rivers of 322 kilometers .
etymology
Lågen is the finite verb of låg (Old Norse lǫgr m) 'water; flow'. It means "the river", although this term must have replaced an old name that is now unknown.
