The Numedalslågen with its 352 km one of the longest rivers in Norway . It has its origin in the Hardangervidda and flows from there through the Sæterdalen to Dagali , further into the Numedal to Kongsberg , forms the Labrofoss under several waterfalls and flows on to Larvik , where it flows into the North Sea ( Skagerrak ). The river has a catchment area of 5554 km².
The Numedalslågen is used for rafting wood. Above Hvittingfoss there are large abundance of salmon and sea trout and each year the river ranks as Norway 's fourth best fishing river for salmon.
