Légna was a commune with the last 203 inhabitants (1 January 2013) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Moirans-en-Montagne . Légna is part of the municipality of Valzin en Petite Montagne .

On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Légna was merged with Fétigny , Chatonnay and Savigna to form the new municipality of Valzin en Petite Montagne.

geography

The northeastern hamlet of Montedroit, which is largely surrounded by Fétigny , belonged to the municipality of Légna . The neighboring communities were Fétigny in the north, Cernon in the west, Arinthod in the south and Savigna in the west.
