La Loyère is a village in the French community Fragnes-La Loyère and a former municipality last 436 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and was part of the canton Chalon-sur-Saône-1 (until 2015: canton Chalon-sur-Saône-Sud ). On January 1, 2016, it was united with the neighboring municipality of Fragnes to form the Commune nouvelle Fragnes-La Loyère.

La Loyère is about six kilometers north-northwest of Chalon-sur-Saône . The A6 autoroute leads through the former municipality.
