La Videmanette is a mountain near Rougemont in Switzerland .
geography
The mountain rises in the border area of the cantons of Bern and Vaud . It consists of three peaks, of which Le Rubi with 2,285 m. ü. M. is the highest. The three distinctive peaks rise into the sky as narrow limestone formations. In the area of La Videmanette and Gummfluh are alpine ibex colonies.
tourism
The mountain is accessed by two gondola lifts . One leads from Rougemont in the Pays-d'Enhaut up into a cut between two peaks. At the back, the connection to the Saanen - Gstaad ski area, which is already part of the canton of Bern, is guaranteed. The mountain station of the cable cars is at 2,151 m. ü. M. and has a restaurant. The mountain railway from Rougemont is also operated in summer and provides access to an extensive hiking area between Gstaad and the Col des Mosses .
