Career

She swims for the Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics and is trained by Frank Busch . Her previous international ones were mostly as part of a freestyle relay. At the Olympic Games in the USA in 2008 , she achieved an excellent third place in the 100 m freestyle decision, which, however, would not have been enough to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . But the winner Dara Torres withdrew her start on this route in Beijing, so Nymeyer has moved up to the US Olympic swimming team. She was also part of the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay.
