Lachenal is a village in Savoy , in the arrondissement of Albertville , and belongs to the municipality of Bozel in the canton of Moûtiers . It is located at an altitude of 1300 meters and has 20 inhabitants.
history
The name Lachenal comes from Chanal , water channel . The hamlet is also known for its " Bachal ", which is a large stone basin that was used as a water point for the village. These water points can still be found in large numbers in the Bozel region.
The Saint Jean chapel from 1703 is located in Lachenal.
