Ladislav Čierny (born November 3, 1974 in Zvolen , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HKm Zvolen in the Extraliga .

Career

Ladislav Čierny began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth of HKm Zvolen , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Slovak Extra League in the 1993/94 season , scoring two goals in 24 games. The defender then moved to their league rivals HC Slovan Bratislava for two years . Then he returned to Zvolen, for which he was active for another four years in the extra league, where he spent a large part of the 1996/97 season with their B team in the second-class 1st division . From 2000 to 2002 the national player was under contract with HC České Budějovice from the Czech Extra League. He was then committed by HK Lada Tolyatti from the Russian Super League , for which he scored 28 scorer points in a total of 124 games in two years.

For the 2004/05 season Čierny returned to Zvolen before he prevented from 2005 to 2007 goals in the Super League for Severstal Tscherepowez . Towards the end of the 2006/07 season he signed another time with HKm Zvolen, for whom he played until 2013 and then ended his career.

International

For Slovakia , Čierny took part in the U20 Junior C World Championships in 1994 and the World Championships in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 . He was also part of the Slovak squad at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey .
