Lake Providence is a city and county seat of East Carroll Parish in US -amerikanischen State Louisiana . In 2010 Lake Providence had 3,991 residents, down from 5,104 in 2000, a decrease of more than 20%.
Lake Providence is on the Mississippi River and on a lake called Lake Providence; from this the place got its name. The lake is a former bed of the Mississippi River.
