Lamorne Morris (born August 14, 1983 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor .
Life
Before Morris became an actor, he wanted to be a basketball player . He graduated from The Second City Training Center. His television - debut he was to host his own show at the transmitter BET. He also played in numerous commercials , including for McDonald’s and Ford .
He made his first experiences in acting in several independent films . He also studied theater at the College of DuPage near Chicago .
From 2011 to 2018 he played the role of Winston Bishop in the series New Girl .
