Lamothe-en-Blaisy was a French commune with 73 inhabitants last (as of January 1, 2013) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Chaumont and the canton of Châteauvillain . The inhabitants are called Lamothois (es) .
With effect from January 1, 2017, Lamothe-en-Blaisy was merged with the former municipality of Colombey-les-Deux-Églises to form a Commune nouvelle with the name Colombey les Deux Églises (spelling without hyphens).

Lamothe-en-Blaisy is located on the Blaise River about 65 kilometers east-southeast of Troyes and 20 kilometers northwest of the small town of Chaumont in the west of the Haute-Marne department.
history
The parish belonged to the Chaumont district from 1793 to 1801. Since 1801 it has been part of the Chaumont arrondissement. From 1793 to 1801 Lamothe-en-Blaisy was in the canton of Blaise. From 1801 to 2015 the municipality belonged to the canton of Juzennecourt , it was incorporated into the municipality of Colombey-les-Deux-Églises on January 1, 2017.
