The Lampsenspitze is a 2875  m high mountain in the northern Stubai Alps (Sellrain) in Tyrol .

The summit is easy to reach from Praxmar ( 1689  m , a few kilometers south of Gries im Sellrain in the Lüsen Valley ) (approx. 3.5 hours). In winter the Lampsenspitze is a popular ski touring mountain . In contrast to the one on the neighboring Zischgeles, the ascent is considered relatively safe from avalanches if the route chosen is sensible. There is an educational tour path consisting of five large information boards along the winter ascent that provide information about tour planning and assessing the avalanche risk.
