The State Horticultural Show Torgau 2022 is the 9th State Horticultural Show in Saxony . It will take place in the Saxon district town of Torgau in the northern Saxony district in 2022 .
The groundbreaking ceremony for the approximately 24- hectare garden show site took place on November 6, 2019. The garden show will open its doors in April 2022 under the title “Nature, People, History”.
The three cities of Torgau, Bad Dürrenberg ( Saxony-Anhalt ) and Beelitz ( Brandenburg ), in which the respective “State Garden Show 2022” will take place at the same time in 2022, want to form a “Central German flower triangle”. Its own state horticultural show is to become a bridge to the neighboring federal states.
